"This is a really cool set up. I used the VIO to do the SUS virtual mapping this winter. All in all I really liked it but to be fair I will list the pros and cons below.
Pros:
self contained unit
LCD lets you see what you are filming so you can get the lense lined up correctly.
AVI format is easy to transfer with the SD card
Tough construction
Suction mount lets you mount the lense to the board for really cool view.
Firmware is updated from time to time.
CONS
The picture was a little grainny for me but better than other units, but the conditions were white out.
little bulky and cable can get in the way.
Battery cover flaps can pop off so do not loose the pin.
SD cover will crack easily if you over tighten.
A bad crash will loose the current video unless keylock is on.
Wish there was a wide angle option.
Could be a little bette at this price point but still better than other units.
