Do you guys have any stories about Europeean slopes and hiking opportunities? I'd love to read some.

I would, too. Europe is one of those dream vacations for me. Alas, it will have to wait until the kids grow up!

Why not take the kids with you? Or are they very small?

Of course, I had once got the opportunity of European slopes and hiking and I haven't missed out that chance. I remember that day with lot of excitement and adventures on European slopes and hiking. I have firstly experience European slopes and hiking about 9 month ago.

I remember traveling through Europe with my dad many years ago, and we stopped in Switzerland and we went skiing, yet I can't remember what the name of the mountain is called. :-/...but it was great.

Man, I'd love to go to Europe PERIOD, let alone hiking. Backpacking my way across some of the mainland countries would be a dream come true.

Skiing in Switzerland sounds amazing. I've been to Europe twice in the past but mainly visited country sides, museums, vineyards, that sort of thing. No opportunity for sports or activities other than a very brief hike once.

I went on a hike/canoe trip through the northern part of Sweden as a scout. It is some of the prettiest and peacefilled country I have ever seen. I would kill to do it again, but I dont have the money and I have the feeling it would be really hard for me to get around alone.

If you really want adventure, you should check out Eastern Europe. Now that's thrilling. And also dangerous.

There are a lot of places you can hike and ski in Europe. I love Italy and would recommend hiking the countryside first chance you get.

Europe is a great country to visit. It's much different than America, the streets are narrower, shops are closer, and the atmosphere is different. Also, I have heard (and it's most likely true) that they tend to charge American tourists more for things, especially if they don't have a price tag on them.

Europe is a continent, not a country. What the hell man, what the hell :)
