Just a heads up for all you Southern California fans...if you are into kayaking Dana Point, CA is one of the best locations in Southern Orange County. Guaranteed!

Never been kayaking but word has it that this is the year to get into it. With 200% snowpack for the year the rapids will be running strong. I know a few of us that are looking at getting into kayakingthis season. What class is Dana Point? anythign for entry level or is it all balls out.

Way back when 9when I had a Kayak) my favorite place to Kayak was La Jolla. Lots of easy places to enter the water and beautiful coastline... I'd highly recommend it.

Does a trip there involve spending a lot of money? Can you rent equipment from there?
