Biking Near Chicago (by twocents s)

Some of my favorite places to bike in CHicago are along the Lake of course, but also around the northern neighborhoods which are a little more biker friendly. Outside of CHicago, I have covered a lot of the Illinois Bike Path that rins along the Fox River and goes north and south for several miles.
If anyone else has some recommendations for biking in this area I would love to hear them. |

How are the Fox River bike paths? Are they suited for begginers? Or are they just for advanced bikers.

Try Palos Heights - Bullfrog lake area. Good offroad riding in that area (for Chicago). Also, check out CAMBR.ORG for other Mt. Biking trails in the area.
